Serving a page involves processing technical information such as an IP address and the requested URL. Hosting logs may also record request times and browser information. The purpose is to deliver the website and maintain its security, based on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Hosting provider: Vercel Inc..

Processing locations: Vercel operates a global delivery network. Technical data may be processed in the United States and other countries where Vercel and its service providers operate.

Log information: IP address, requested URL, request time, browser and device information, approximate location derived from the IP address, and diagnostic or security information. This website does not add analytics or a separate visitor database.

Log retention: Vercel retains technical data for the purposes described in its privacy notice, including operating and securing its services and meeting legal obligations. It deletes or anonymises data when those purposes no longer require it; backups may be retained securely until deletion is possible. Vercel does not publish one fixed retention period covering all hosting data.

International transfers: Vercel identifies the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses or other lawful safeguards for international transfers. Details and contact information are available in Vercel’s privacy notice.

Hosting provider’s privacy information

These pages use no analytics, advertising, tracking cookies or embedded social widgets. Fonts and photographs are served with the website. No consent banner is used for the current setup.

External links only connect you to another website when you follow them. That website’s own privacy information then applies.

The contact form prepares a message in your browser. It either opens a draft in your email app or copies the message to your clipboard when you request it. It does not submit the form to a website server or save its contents in browser storage.

If you send an email, its contents and contact details are used to respond, based on the legitimate interest in answering correspondence about this personal photography portfolio under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Email provider: Gmail (Google)

Messages and their delivery information are handled through Gmail. Google operates infrastructure internationally, including in the United States. Its privacy policy explains this processing, and its data transfer information describes the applicable safeguards.

Correspondence retention: Ordinary correspondence is kept only while it is needed to answer your message and complete any relevant follow-up. Completed conversations are deleted when they are no longer needed, unless retention is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Deleting a message does not immediately remove every provider backup. Google explains its deletion process and exceptions in its data retention information.

Contacting me is voluntary. Your reply address and message are needed if you would like an answer. I do not use correspondence for advertising or newsletters.

Where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact the operator listed above to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
